Where we are

Camp Lookout is located six miles south of Frankfort. We are approximately 250 miles from Detroit and 300 miles from Chicago in the popular vacation area of Northwest lower Michigan about 35 miles west of Traverse City.

Click here or see below for the location in Google Maps.   Be advised, however, that there is no telephone at the Lookout parking lot.  If you need to arrive at a time other than our regular openings/closing, please telephone from Frankfort before driving out to Lookout.

By air
We will pick up/drop off campers arriving and departing at Cherry Capital airport in Traverse City, about a 1 hour  drive from camp.  A nominal pickup charge will be levied against the camper's store account.
